Multi-Location & Franchise SEO · UK

Consistent local rankings for every location

Local SEO for branch networks, clinic groups and franchise systems. Built so each location ranks in its own area — and none of them cannibalise the others.

Why it’s different

What multi-location search needs

Running SEO for fifty locations is not running it fifty times. The hard parts are structure, consistency and control.

Location page architecture

A scalable page structure where every location has genuinely useful, distinct content rather than a template with the town name swapped in.

Profiles managed at scale

Google Business Profile management across the whole estate, with consistent categories, services and imagery on every listing.

Consistency and control

Matching name, address and phone details across every directory, plus control over which page ranks for which area.

The approach

Experience from inside a large network

For the past six years I have worked in-house on local SEO for a large UK healthcare provider with locations across the country. That means dealing with the problems networks actually have: template pages that do not rank, listings that drift out of date, two branches competing for the same search, and reporting that hides which locations are underperforming.

The work is as much about process as it is about pages. A network needs a repeatable way to launch a new location, keep its details accurate, and see how it is performing against its neighbours — not a one-off project that decays the moment someone moves premises.

Common problems I fix
The issues that hold back almost every multi-location estate I look at.
  • Thin location pages that all say the same thing
  • Branches competing for identical search terms
  • Inconsistent details across directories and listings
  • Reporting that averages away the weak locations

Common questions

Frequently asked

How many locations do you work with?

Anything from a handful of sites to a large national estate. The approach scales: small groups usually need better location pages first, while larger estates need process and reporting before anything else.

Why are our locations competing with each other?

Usually because several pages target the same generic term with near-identical content, so Google cannot tell which is the right result for a given area. The fix is deliberate keyword mapping per location plus internal linking that reinforces it.

Do you work with franchise networks where franchisees run their own marketing?

Yes, and it is a common situation. The practical answer is usually a central framework — page templates, listing standards and guidance — that franchisees can follow without needing to become SEO specialists themselves.

Can you handle our Google Business Profiles as well as the website?

Yes. For multi-location businesses the profiles often matter more than the website, so listing management is treated as core work rather than an add-on.
